Future – 3 years

After three years, I'll be a senior, which is in Grade 12. That means, I have to be ready for university.

I want to have as much AP classes as I can take, and I think I don't want to worry about the SAT vocabulary, because I'll study for those vocabulary before Grade 12.

Group Involvement

When I am involved in a group activity, actually, I really like to lead others, but that doesn't mean I love to order someone to do something.
For example, If we have a group project, I think I have enough ability to design it and make it looks good. So I always enthusiastic when I am having the group works. I always do as much as I can.
I love to draw, design, and my handwriting is kind of good. I also can write good articles (In Chinese). My technology is good too.

Moment

When the airplane landed on the MIAMI AIRPORT, and I felt the hot temperature, I knew, that's the biggest change in my life. I'll study in different language, having different goals, making different friends. I sticked with my family and the Chinese all the time before I arrived, I thought I cannot live without them. But in that moment, I felt like I am just a bird, migrated into a warm and better place, to live through my most beautiful years, and get more knowledge. Maybe I'll feel alone during these years, but still, the good education, awesome and fantastic High School life, the wonderful university will let me change my life internationalized, and make me have a better job, have a better husband, have a better life.

Perfect or Exam-oriented Education

Homework, homework, and homework.

Test, test, and test.

These are the only two things that Chinese teachers know about. And Julia, which was one of those toilsome students, with lots of lots of lots of homework and tests to study,  just luckily shaked off those presure and came to US for shelter.

I saw the students here are having such a so carefree middle school and high shool life, without a mountain of worksheet to do everynight. The students here using the laptop to help them improve the knowledge. But in China, literally, the eager teachers are earnestly looking forward to confiscate all of the electronics that their students have, and let their students getting into the frame of mind for study and study.

Even so, I have a clear conscience that I still really love to go to the school, whether how hard and tired we study everyday. I love to have the efficient study, that will let us have the learning tension, and have a lot of concentration. That’s better than having nothing to do and just playing laptop, eating chips and almost faineant.

The goverment of China think that Chinese have a perfect education presumingly, because Chinese have the free nine-year compulsory education project. But what do the students know from the quiz and test, and lots of lots of lots of homework? They are actually study for the exam, not for themselves. After they take that exam, everything they  remember last night will totally disapear in their mind, because those are short-term memory!
